Perfetto WoodGel is an acrylic water-based coating, which stains and seals raw wood in one application with minimal to no grain raising. WoodGel may also be used over paint or a solvent base sealed surface, such as an oil or lacquer-based sanding sealer. Using over raw wood will typically achieve a darker stain then over a sealed surface, because more pigment will soak into the wood. Use Perfetto Clear WoodGel to soften, thin or reduce the strengh of the WoodGel stain. Add WoodGel Metallic Concentrates to any of the stains to achieve a shimmering stain appearance (typically 15% to 50%). Topcoat with a good acrylic water-based product such as Perfetto Urawax.

 

Prepare a sample prior to use to assure desired results. WoodGel will look different over different types of wood.
