This can vary according to the type of application used.   Drying times: Venetian Plaster drying times vary according to the type of application and the dilution ratio. Undiluted Venetian Plaster applied crosshatched will dry in 20 minutes or less, and thicker applications about 1 hour or more. When diluted rolled or brushed, these times will not vary much unless the substrate is well sealed. It may be diluted for various application reasons, up to 50% with water. You may also add Wetting Agent, or simply latex paint to get more open time.
